So I'm really itching to do a lot of things but so far the tangible ones are as follows, visting my sister and meeting her new baby boy, hopefully in June, while taking a road trip, and seeing some hot spots that I've never been to before.
Dave and I are going to pull out a map this week and try to plan a route down to TN, of course we have to work out all the details, the date (more specific than sometime in June) where we want to stop, what we want to see, how we are getting there. Nonetheless I'm really excited at the prospect, it will be my first non- family road trip and one of the longest...oh boy! I guess Dave and I will find out if we really like each other and if we can survive this trip I think we'll be in pretty good shape.
If anyone has any cool spots they know of that I should stop at let me know. So far we have D.C. on the list, I am dying to see the cherry blossoms, from what I remember from my 8th grad class trip they are beautiful. I'm going to make Dave take a ton of pictures, maybe I"ll bring a travel journal with us too and we can record all of our adventures.
Well just wanted to let you know what's been brewing in my head lately....I'll keep you updated, let you know any stops we discover, any sight seeing gems we find.

Introduction
Well I've decided that this is a great idea...blogging that is.
After getting completely wrapped up in my sisters blog, and also some proding from co-workers, I concluded this would be a great way to keep everyone up to date on my life. Give people an idea of what's going on in the world of Katherine as well as give me something to do with my spare time.
There's lots to fill everyone in on I guess...I'm not sure where to start.
First of all I'm really excited about becoming an aunt...hence my excitement with blogging thanks to Amy and Carson. He's the first, the first grandchild, the first boy in my immediate family, (not counting dad) and my first nephew! I can't wait to see him...in fact I can't wait to see my sister and her pregnant belly. (Even if it is only through pictures) I can't wait to hold that little boy in my arms and call him my nephew, I'm so excited for Amy and Tom and well my whole family!
In other news, I'm job hunting/searching, while also trying to figure out what exactlly it is I want to do with my life/career. I'm definitely craving change, something new and exciting and completely different. I think I"m up for the challenge, well at least I am ready for it. As of late I have been contemplating personal training, I think it would be a great way to motivate and help others as well as myself. It would be nice not to be in an office, stuck behind a desk and I think it would give me a lot of flexibility as far as schedules go. I would love to be more active and to understand more fully how the body works. And I think the job would be so rewarding...helping people reach their goals, make them look good and feel good about themselves. So that's what I've been musing...let me know what you think, I wouldn't mind some feedback and advice.
Well I guess that's it for now...I'll be sure to add some updates soon..I have to tell you all about my first big vacation and get all those pictures up here.
